Cuevas Helena Holidays, located deep in the Andalucian countryside in the village of Benamaurel, we offer something truly unique to this region of Spain. All our rooms are carved into the caves, meaning they stay super cool in the Summer and maintain a cosy warmth in the Winter. We aim to provide a special, intimate atmosphere with a feeling of well-being. Cave dwelling with a contemporary twist… Upon entering you will immediately sense the special, intimate atmosphere and a feeling of well-being. We offer a contemporary twist you would not expect in a cave house, but this is no ordinary cave - this is " Modern Day Cave Living. " Set up of 3 bedrooms, all with individual features , we offer the perfect retreat for a Family or groups of friends. Cuevas Helena is a newly reformed Cave house set in a beautiful location of Andalucia all rooms are a great size this is "Modern Day Cave Living " the minute you walk in the door your experience will begin . All our bedding & Towels are luxurious and all guests can relax in their own towelling robe in the cave or by our swimming pool which has amazing views over Sierra De Cazorla . Cuevas Helena was filmed throughout the project also the surrounding areas and will be shown on TV early 2017 . Cuevas Helena is a Unique Cave House as we have reformed the cave to suit Modern Day Cave Living but have at the same time retaining many original features you would expect in a cave . We have several areas which we have left exposed so as you can see the original rock clay which has been preserved and you can see the shells & fossils from millions of years ago, as this area of Altiplano was completely submerged in water the cave had a shell lined right throughout the cave which can be seen in Master Bedroom & Lounge area. All our rooms have different features throughout from sleeper for showers to trees in Twin Room 2 !! Our Guest are on holiday and they have access to all areas , we have various terraced areas also areas around the swimming pool.
